Bitterroot River

April 15th.

The Bitterroot River will be in great shape after this weeks cold spell. We have had Snow and cold wind for a few days but that will shut the creeks down again and the fishing will be quite good.

April 14th, Fished the Clark fork River at Alberton west of Missoula. A massive midge hatch and some Western Gray Drakes on the water but now fish up. Snowed today and the river is up and the Bitterroot is up and off color. Hope to see some better fishing in a few days. Saw a few Squala's in the air so it is happening if the weather cooperates.
