The Advanced filter is for extreme conditions found either in the out-doors such as stagnant water, or emergency conditions. Filter Capacity
All Seychelle filters deliver up to 100 gallons of great-tasting, fresh water before they need to be changed. The time to change any filter is when the water flow becomes greatly diminished, and it is difficult to squeeze it through the filter bottle.
The filters can only be used with fresh water - not salt.
Maintenance
Seychelle filters have an indefinite shelf life. For prolonged storage, follow these simple steps: - Flush a chlorinated solution (1/2 tsp. Per gallon of water) through the system.
- Allow the bottle and filter assembly to dry overnight on a paper towel.
- Store for any length of time.
